About Holy Cross School

As one of the most trusted schools in Virar-Vasai, we believe in holistic learning. Our goal is to equip every student to be a talented individuals, respected citizen and capable leader of the future.

The beginning of the Holy Cross English High School, Nirmal was extremely humble. It began with the Kindergarden in year 2000-2001, with the high thinking of His Lordship, Bishop Thomas Dabre and the initiative of Rev. Fr. Wilson Rebello. Each year a few more students would be added as each class progressed to the next year. In year 2011-2012, the first batch of around 49 students appeared for the SSC Board Examination achieving a 100% result, a feat that would become a trend which remains unbroken upto this very day.

Over the years, the Holy Cross English High School would develop a strong reputation among the local community, known for its discipline, efficiency and academic excellence. This reputation was possible because of the vision, dedication and efforts of Holy Cross Management. It created an environment where teachers were able to exhibit their talents and work without stress so that they could concentrate on their own demanding job of teaching and nurturing future generation.

We promote the highest academic standard by providing a challenging, stimulating and varied curriculum which fosters confidence, enthusiasm and curiosity.

It is with immense pride and gratitude that we announce the establishment of Holy Cross International School, an institution dedicated to delivering world-class education through the Cambridge IGCSE Curriculum. This marks a significant milestone in our vision to provide learners with an academically rigorous, values-based, and globally relevant education. Our IGCSE school aims to foster an environment where curiosity is encouraged, critical thinking is cultivated, and lifelong learning becomes a way of life. We aspire to shape young minds who are confident, responsible, reflective, innovative, and engaged — qualities essential for success in the 21st century. This initiative is not merely the beginning of a new institution, but the continuation of a mission — to prepare students to thrive as capable, ethical, and compassionate global citizens. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all parents, educators, and partners who share our vision and have supported us in bringing it to life.
